Scuderi Split Cycle Engine

I think inovations like this are important.  This engine design weighs less, reduces emmissions and increases combustible efficiency by about 25%.    There are a number of innovative designs out there, that I believe are being suppressed because all of the shear market size of the big three.   They have their engineers and their design, their job security and their business model.  Innovative technology is by nature distruptive, which is why the big three came kickign and screaming to the production of hybrids, after the Honda Insight and Toyota Prius did the heavy lifting.
